PAAB is committed to maintain high standard of corporate governance in the conduct of its businesses and operations. Integrity & Governance Department is the catalyst responsible towards sparking a culture of integrity through the implementation of four (4) core function; Complaint Management; Detection & Verification; Integrity Strengthening; and Governance. By ensuring the best governance is practice, it strengthen staff integrity as well as addressing issues related to integrity especially corruption, malpractice and abuse of power.
Whistleblower identity and personal information is protected. These information are to be treated as confidential and not to be shared with any unauthorized person.
Unless the Whistleblower gives consent to disclose identity or investigations carried out by law enforcement agency and produce notice that require disclosure information from PAAB, therefore such obligations and responsibilities to maintain confidentiality are no longer obligated to PAAB.
Whistleblower will be protected to the extend reasonably practicable from any detrimental actions subject to the conditions fulfilled.
Whistleblower that requires protection and immunity against civil and criminal liability for making complaint related to the offences under specific law shall be referred to the Law Enforcement Agency concerned and the Whistleblower will be given all protection under Section 7, Whistleblower Protection Act 2010.
Any persons who are aware or suspects that any misconduct has been committed, or is on-going or will be committed, are deemed responsible to report the misconduct through any of the PAAB whistleblowing channels.
