Nasharudin was appointed as Board Member on 15 March 2023, and he is also a Director of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

He has over 26 years of experience in the public sector, having begun his career with the Public Service Department in 1996 and then worked his way up in several ministries including the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Human Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Rural and Regional Development and the Ministry of Finance. In his years of public service, he climbed up the ranks and his last post was that of a Deputy Secretary for the Government Procurement Division of the Ministry of Finance.  In 2015 he was honoured for his years of exemplary government service with an Excellent Service Award (APC).

He holds a Diploma Diploma in Public Administration from INTAN, and a Bachelor of Laws from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa, Malaysia.
