Dato’ Sri Hasan Arifin was appointed Chairman of Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad on 16 June 2020. He graduated in Economics from University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and brings with him a vast experience in management and administration.

He was Deputy Chief Minister of Pahang from 1995-1999 and since then, he had been involved in the field of water management. Among others, he was involved in planning for provision of water supply to Felda Negeri Pahang and its rural areas. In addition to that, he also initiated crucial studies for water supply from Pahang to Negeri Sembilan and Selangor as well as on Non-Revenue Water in Pahang.

In other areas, he was responsible for the development of Gebeng Industrial Area, construction of Pantai Timur Highway (Karak-Kuantan) and extension of Kuantan Port.

Dato’ Sri Hasan is no stranger to the management and corporate world, having previously appointed as Board Member for UDA Holdings Bhd and FELDA, Chairman of Lembaga Kemajuan Perusahaan Pertanian Negeri Pahang (LKPP) and Chairman of Lembaga Pembangunan Wilayah Pahang Tenggara (DARA).

Currently, Dato’ Sri Hasan is Chairman and Director for a few plantation and downstream operation companies as well as Chairman of PERKIM Negeri Pahang and Sahabat Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan.
