Responsibilities:
- Lead in the organization of all internal and external events from start to end and ensure they are being carried out according to the highest standards;
- Assist in new corporate responsibility program(s) for the company;
- Create and maintain a good relationship with the media, write press releases, press statements, advertorials and prepare FAQs for press conferences; and
- Perform any other related jobs as instructed from time to time by the Management and/or immediate Superior.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, English, Journalism or any other related studies.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in organizing events, media relations, public relations, corporate communications or corporate affairs.
- Must have a valid driving license and willing to travel outstations.
- Proficiency in Ms Word, Ms Excel and Ms PowerPoint with good report writing skills.
- Self motivated, analytical and resourceful with strong integrity and ability to work in a team environment.
- Results oriented with good interpersonal and people’s skills.
- Must be able to speak and write in both English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiently.
