Puan Hawazain binti Shaari was born on 14 April, 1955 in Perak Darul Ridzuan.  She is married and has two sons and a daughter.

Puan Hawazain has been appointed as Director at Accounting Office Operation Management Division, Accountant General Malaysia since 16 Mei, 2011 until now.  She started her career since 1979 and held various posts in the Ministry.  She was awarded ‘Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang’ for three years in 1997, 2005 and 2007.

She holds Master Degree in Business Administration from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and also a certified Accountant of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and she is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
