Adam Saffian is the Head for Finance of PAAB. He is responsible for the management and supervision of corporate advisory, accounting, treasury and lease management functions.
Adam has over 10 years of experience in the provision of accounting, taxation and internal audit services with the last 2 years concentrated heavily in the corporate finance function. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was trained in providing audit services to companies within financial services industry. He proceeded to join Bumiputra-Commerce Bank where he specialized in the Investigation and Credit Audit functions within the Internal Audit Department. Subsequently, he joined Macquarie Outsource, an outsourcing outfit specializing in the provision of Australian accounting and taxation matters as Manager in charge of Self Managed Superannuation Funds.
In September 2006, he joined Indah Water Konsortium and subsequently Prokhas Sdn Bhd where he was assigned to assist in the establishment of PAAB and thereafter, joined the company as Manager, Corporate Finance. On 1 January 2009, Adam was promoted to Senior Manager, Corporate Finance and on 1 July 2009 was re-designated as PAAB’s Head of Finance.
Adam graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with Bachelor of Business (with Credit) majoring in Accounting & Finance and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
